Safari tents, bell tents and yurts
We have three safari tents a bell tent and three yurts to choose from.
Each has its own compost loo, kitchen, standpipe of drinking water, campfire and wood burning stove. The safari tents also have their own hot shower within the tent.
All have wooden floors and are furnished to a clean, attractive and comfortable standard, checked regularly. Our glamping tents are all in the same six acre meadow, spaced at about 30-40 yards apart from each other.
Our safari tents, Primrose, Daisy and Poppy, are ideal for visitors who would like more space than a yurt can offer. They are five metres (15ft) wide by nine metres (27ft) in length, with an additional 2.5 metre deep covered verandah across the front. Each has two bedrooms, one with a double bed, one with two single beds. There is also a large living area which has a double sofa bed, woodburning stove, sofa and dining table with six chairs. Each tent has its own hot shower. The covered verandah at the front has table, benches and chairs and faces south-west into wonderful sunsets.
The yurts are 18ft diameter and each have a double bed and two double sofa beds, as well as coffee table and storage chests. They each have a woodburning stove to keep them warm. Our yurts can accommodate four people or up to six for a family with children. They are also very romantic for couples and a favourite with honeymooners. We can provide travel cots and high chairs free of charge. All our yurts, Clover, Bluebell and Buttercup are very similar and of the same high standard (AA 4 Green Pennant).
