Safety

We have a friendly, well-behaved collie dog Lily who is as trustworthy as a dog can be with children, having lived with our family all her life. You can also bring your own dog, by prior arrangement, please call to discuss beforehand, see our terms for canine visitors.

There is a pond – fenced, gated and locked – about 500 yards from the glamping field and there is a small stream running through the farm, about 200 yards from the tents.

We are sited off the road down a somewhat bumpy half-mile farm track. It is completely passable but we advise that you drive slowly.

We have livestock on the farm (sheep, chickens and horses) so remember it’s important to wash your hands after touching animals. There will be regular chances to meet the ponies and chickens organised during every stay.

Please do be aware that the glamping field is car-free and unless you are disabled, you will be walking 200 yards to and from your car. The showers are by the parking area, also a 200 yard walk from the glamping field. If you have disabilities, please do get in touch and we will do our best to make a visit here possible.
